Job Summary:

  • The Reconciliation Coordinator is primarily responsibility for handling the reconciliation of client bank statements and follow up on any issues


Essential Functions and Tasks:

  • Reconciles client bank statements monthly and confirms that all monies are accounted for
  • Navigates websites to obtain Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
  • Identifies issues and communicates those issues to Reconciliation Supervisor
  • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • At least one (1) year of experience in medical billing preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements

  • Knowledge of a variety of insurance plans

  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software skills

  • Strong mathematical skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions; computing percentages; and working with decimals

  • Strong time management skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to read, understand, and apply state/federal laws, regulations, and policies

  • Ability to remain flexible and work within a collaborative and fast paced environment

  • Ability to communicate with diverse personalities in a tactful, mature, and professional manner
