Overview

Job Summary:

  • The Receptionist welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries. This position directs and instructs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories. This position also maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges

Responsibilities

Essential Functions and Tasks:

  • Signs and expedites claim forms for mail delivery to customer
  • Receives visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately
  • Answers, screens, and forwards incoming phone calls
  • Provides basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Maintains office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Receives daily mail and maintains package logs
  • Announces deliveries for pick up/drop off of supplies for company
  • Facilitates Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) survey by interview candidates
  • Orders and dispenses Over-The-Counter (OTC) medications/first aid products as needed for employees
  • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least one to two (1-2) years of receptionist or front office representative experience preferred
  • Basic working knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules preferred

Base Compensation:   

  • Base Compensation for this position: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
  • Base Compensation will be based on various factors unique to each candidate including geographic location, skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons
  • This position is also eligible for discretionary performance bonuses in accordance with company policies
