Job Summary

  • The Manager, Billing & Intake is responsible for ensuring Ventra Health front end billing standards are met on each client, must be able to communicate standards to and drive performance. The Manager, Billing & Intake must comply with applicable laws regarding billing standards and be able to motivate a team to strive to provide superior service to anesthesia providers throughout the country.

Essential Functions and Tasks

  • Creating and updating front end instruction including but not limited to charge tips and protocols, demographic tips and protocols, mapping of billing documents, demographic plan and carrier list, PQRS instructions, signature logs.
  • Resolving overlaps.
  • Resolving issues in problem stations and returns imaging station.
  • Providing instructions on demo download.
  • Review open incidents batches to make sure there are not any charges.  If charges exist, resolve the issue.
  • Add referring providers to MedSuite.
  • Route MedSuite changes to the appropriate team.
  • Answer any questions regarding front end to Ventra Health team.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proven success in supervising employees.
  • Medical billing experience required; anesthesia/ASC preferred (depending on division).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make decisions in a timely fashion that are sound, accurate and supported by the reasoning and inclusion of appropriate people.
  • Must be able to supervise and motivate a team of employees.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues about employees, patients or providers.
  • Must be able to prioritize and accomplish objectives in a timely fashion.
  • Demonstrate proficiency as a Payment Analyst.

Compensation

  • Base Compensation for this position: $50,000 - $60,000 annually 

  • Base Compensation will be based on various factors unique to each candidate including geographic location, skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons 

  • This position is also eligible for discretionary performance bonuses in accordance with company policies
