Job Summary

  • The Intake Reconciliation Analyst is responsible for resolving discrepancies in their assigned division of billing systems. The Intake Reconciliation Analyst is expected to perform regular audits on assigned clients to ensure all records have been processed for billing.

Essential Functions and Tasks

      • Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements in current practices
      • Create and distribute weekly reports to enable accurate and timely processing for billing
      • Prepare monthly scorecards and reports for senior management and external clients
      • Participate in projects relating to the results of the reconciliation to ensure timely processing which include accessing EMR/Charge capture systems to process and review records.
      • Lead coordination and communication of reconciliation results
      • Document any identified gaps in reconciliation procedures and work with the team leaders and managers to find resolution
      • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic level knowledge of SQL.
  • One year in data analysis.
  • One year in medical billing, preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to make decisions in a timely fashion that are sound, accurate and supported by the reasoning and inclusion of appropriate people.
    • Proactive and able to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines.
    • Must be able to interact well with all kinds of people.
    • Must be able to prioritize and accomplish objectives in a timely fashion.
    • Basic use of computer, telephone, internet, copier, fax, and scanner.     
    • Touch-typing skills, 40 wpm required, 50 wpm preferred.
    • Basic touch 10 key skills.
    • Basic Math skills.
    • Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
    • Basic knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.

     

    Physical Demands:

    • 40 hours per week

    • Lift and/ or move up to 15 - 20 pounds
    • Extensive use of computer keyboard and viewing of computer screen
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision

Compensation

  • Base Compensation will be based on various factors unique to each candidate including geographic location, skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. 
  • This position is also eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus in accordance with company policies.
